So, Christmas has come again, and what a Christmas it has been. There were ups and downs for me, but the downs really aren't worth mentioning, so I'll gloss over those. My birthday also usually gets lumped into christmas as well (being only five days before), but all is well and good this time around. Well, EFNW has come and gone once again, and it was just as fun as last year, if not more so. I cosplayed this year (as nightmare moon) for the first time ever, and while some issues --we'll get to those later-- prevented me from entering the contest, I still had a ton of fun and received a lot of compliments on my work. I spent a lot more time at the writing panels this year, and got some excellent pointers, as well as feedback for my own story. I even entered the "Iron Author" contest, which was a 2-hour timed event to write the best story we could come up with using three of four provided themes.
